1. Student Dialogues

Deadline: 26 June 2016

Each participating country will be expected to give a 10-minute presentation on their allocated topic, which will be followed by a 5-minute Q and A session.

Following the presentations, there will be concurrent group discussion sessions.

Each participating country will also be expected to summarise key ideas of their presentation in a printed poster.


2. Cultural Exhibition

The Cultural Exhibition is an essential and exciting component of APYLS that allows each country to showcase their unique culture and traditions.

Below is the list of Objectives of the Cultural Exhibition:
  1. To promote appreciation and understanding of the diversity of cultures among delegates and students of Hwa Chong Institution (College).
  2. To provide a platform for delegates to showcase and share with their fellow delegates what is unique to their country and culture.


3. Cultural Performance

Deadline: 26 June 2016

HC-APYLS 2016 gathers global participants to engage in discourse, while interacting with different cultures. This performance serves to showcase delegates' unique cultures.

Delegates are to prepare an item, as a country, for the Cultural Night performance. It should exhibit distinct cultural features of their country.
For example: instrumental pieces, dances, folk songs etc.
Delegates from the same country are to collaborate in drafting the details of their country's cultural performance.
